Synopsis
This Metrology 101 basic metrology training course introduces the student to basic measurement concepts, basic electronics related to measurement instruments and math used in calibration. We will also teach various techniques used to make good measurements using calibration equipment. The student will be competent to make measurements after passing the final exam.
Prerequisites
Attendees of this course should have a basic understanding of math, algebra, physics and science. Some hands-on experience in plant process maintenance, process calibration or meter calibration is helpful but not required.
