On June 5th, the Brazilian energy matrix industry recognized the leading companies in the sector. During an awards night, Fluke was nominated and won in the Industry and Equipment category at the 2024 Energy Leaders award, organized by Grupo Mídia and Full Energy magazine.
The ceremony took place at Palácio Tangará in São Paulo and honored companies and institutions that stood out for their performance, investments, and hard work in the energy sector. The event featured 23 categories, including Best Practices and Compliance; Communication and Marketing; Consulting and Advisory; Energy Efficiency; Renewable Energies; Sectoral Entities; ESG; People and Management; Generation and Production; Corporate Governance; Materials and Equipment Industry; Green Industry; Infrastructure and Engineering; Free Market and Trading; Mobility; Business; Oil, Gas, and Petroleum; Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D); Service Provider; Quality, Health, and Safety; Technology; Energy Transition; and Transmission and Distribution. Besides Fluke, companies like Shell, BYD, Siemens, ABB, and Schneider were also awarded.
Representing the Latin American team, General Manager Luiz Ribeiro took the stage to receive the trophy. He was accompanied by Adriana Catelli, Director of Commercial Strategy Latam, and Rodrigo Pereira, Director of Key Account Latam.
In addition to the companies, Itaipu Binacional, one of Fluke's main clients in the Utilities account, was named Leader of the Year. This award is a significant recognition, especially in a year when Itaipu celebrated the milestone of generating 3 billion megawatt-hours of energy.
Federal Deputy Julio Lopes also attended the ceremony and emphasized the importance of the event as an opportunity for networking and recognition for the sector's leaders.
