The Fluke DS703 FC Video Borescope has been updated with improved battery charging and management and can now last up to 4 hours on a single charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GWOH from Terrible, Do not Purchase I purchased this unit about a year ago and tested it out in the office a couple times and it worked fine. I pulled it out of the case a few months later to test it out before usage in the field for the 1st time, and the picture will not align with the screen; the 'up is up' technology will capture a picture that is level with the horizon, but the picture captures are cockeyed on the view screen and in the unit's memory. Either the borescope is faulty, or something in the control unit, and the borescope overheats until it is almost at burn temperature. I sent the unit for repair and after waiting for several weeks the unit was returned to me, still not working and with a dead battery, with a note from the repair depot indicating they found nothing wrong. The customer service rep at Fluke Canada was hopeless to deal with from the start, and now I've delayed the start of a project assignment several times due to this faulty and pricey borescope. I've requested a full replacement from the reseller and this is the last Fluke product we will own.
