Rated 3 out of 5 by Veeger from Switch is flimsy Bought this thing to use as industrial electrical trouble shooter to replace a T5. This had ac/dc on the current range and a higher resolution on the Ohms range. For motors you want a higher ohm range so you can get a better picture if troubleshooting many different kinds like 110 volt up to 480 and both AC/DC. We have a lot of 24v ac/dc
It is further clumsy to use because I work in a food prcessing plant and subject to high amounts of water. What that means is most our stuff is stainless so magnet is useless. Trying to keep the clamp head in place and roll out the leads is not fun.
I am a Fluke fan for many years but this disappointed me and I'm out $249.00. You don't get a solid strong switch action like other Fluke meters.
I was supposed to get a FREE Fluke LVD1 light from BEST IN TEST but I have a PO Box but we are converting to 911 for snail mail.
If you work in a plant where your meter is laying in a roll around tool box and stuff you work on is not all stainless then perhaps this might be ok.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mikeydread from Has Great Features but.... I love the idea of a detachable clamp and its easy to use but it does not have enough resolution for more in depth troubleshooting. Great if your just measuring quick and dirty but not if you need more detail on the devices you are measuring. It would be awesome to have that capability with that deatchable probe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RobW from I could not recommend the the Fluke 365 clamp meter. As you try and withdraw the clamp from a wire being tested for current, the clamp sometimes snags or hooks on the wire and drags it back with the clamp. (low res photos included)
This is of real concern if a wire is not properly secured and could expose the operator to dangerous voltage if the wire being tested becomes dislodged. This has already happened to me.
The screen is hard to read at angles other than direct straight on, with or without the back light.
The built in led torch is nothing short of a joke and could only be useful in absolute pitch black darkness. In dimly lit areas it makes no visible difference. A bit of a waste of space.
The 0.1 resolution is that of a cheaper meter, it should be 0.01.
The removable clamp does not secure firmly in the cradle, it keeps coming out. The retainer or clip that holds it in place does not appear nearly strong enough.
Overall the meter feels cheaply made and I think Fluke have missed the mark with the 365.
Therefore I could not recommend the purchase of the Fluke 365 clamp meter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tony65 from Great Meter I use this meter while working on my Motor Home which has 12 volt DC and 120 Volt/50 Amp service. The reach with the detachable clamp is great for hard to reach and tight spaces.
