Instructions:
The PG7000/PG9000 firmware versions 3.00 and newer are intended to work with all PG9000 models and PG7000 models with serial numbers 733 or newer. Do not attempt to upgrade an older PG7000 model with this software. This upgrade does not apply to PG7000-AF products.

Contact a Fluke Calibration Authorized Service Center for additional information.

Download the file. Run Winflash and select the file downloaded as the file to write to the product.

Use a standard RS232 cable to connect the PG7000/PG9000 COM1 port to an available port on the host PC.

The updating of embedded software should only be performed after given specific instructions to do so from a Fluke Calibration Authorized Service Center.

If the update isn't performed properly, your product will be inoperable until it is.

NOTE: The updating of embedded software should only be performed after given specific instructions to do so from a Fluke Calibration Authorized Service Center. Firmware should not be downgraded (rolled back) from v3.1.5.255 or later to versions before v3.1.5.255 unless necessary. Downgrading PG firmware from v3.1.5.255 or later to v3.1.4.308 or lower requires first downgrading to v3.1.3.21 Contact Fluke Calibration Pressure Technical Support at Technical Support
Updates Include:
Ver 3.1.5.255 (2018 Nov 5)
ADD (PG-771): Auto-float support for 8270A and 8370A pressure controllers.

FIX (PG-801): Auto-float sub-ATM use with 6270A, 8270A or 8370A when multiple PMM modules are required for operation.

FIX (PG-804): Unselected active piston may result in memory error and reset.

FIX (PG-800): Auto-float using a PPCH and an intensifier will halt at the PPCH upper limit setting

Ver 3.1.4.308 (2016 Jun 16)
ADD (PG-766): Auto-Float Generation support for 6270A Pressure Controller.

FIX (PG-794):  Head height unit text corrupted in SPECIAL/Head/ATM menu.

FIX (PG-765):  HLD mode does not work.

FIX (PG-507):  Error when there is a DUT head entered in a PG7000 when used in Differential mode.

FIX (PG-763):  Autofloat using a PPCH-G can hang or overpressure.

Ver 3.1.3.21 (2014 Jan 15)
FIX (PG-504):  Default Ambient head height wrong on PG7102, PG7302 and PG7202.

FIX (PG-503):  Boolean type remote command arguments are intolerant of trailing white spaces.

FIX (PG-502):  MEDIA= command argument assumes a user media when the argument does not match any of the standard media types.

FIX (PG-501):  Received GPIB terminators are converted into whitespaces instead of deleted, causing issues with Boolean argument types and the MEDIA command.

FIX (PG-498):  Auto Rotate motor turning on/off while on springs with PPCH-G controller.

FIX (PG-493):  PRTPC command cannot take 10 digit cal report number.

FIX (PG-489):  "LE50" indicated on PG7601 display.

Ver 3.1.2.12 (2011 Aug 18)
ADD (PG-496):  Add new model PG9602

Ver 3.1.1.14 (2011 Jan 17)
CHG (PG-490):  The PG version format has changed to a 4 field code, 3.1.1.14. The values correspond
to major, minor, revision and build indexes.
FIX (PG-486):  The PPCH can take a very long time to re-float a piston. In some cases a re-float can never
achieve a ready condition. The float algorithm was improved to dramatically reduce the re-float time.

Ver 3.01 (2010 Aug 18)
ADD (PG-476):  Support the PG9607.
ADD (PG-477): Software supports the dual PRTs used by PG9607.  The AMB command includes both PRT values and the average.
ADD (PG-478): Support the Hart temperature and humidity probe for ambient conditions measurements.  The adder and multiplier calibration values are stored in the probe and not in the PG base.
ADD (PG-470): A new “Default” menu choice is in the Special->Remote->COM2->Vac menu.  Use the selection to revert to the default MKS vacuum reference settings on a PG9607.
ADD (PG-469): The command “PASSTHRUx” now supports COM4.
CHG (PG-482):  The *IDN? And VER commands respond with FLUKE as the manufacturer.
CHG (PG-483):  The ATMHEIGHT, MRES and PGEN commands incorrectly responded with the command followed by an “=” then the proper return value.  These commands now only respond with the specific return value.
FIX (PG-15): IEEE488 address always displays as 10 when viewed from the Remote menu.
FIX (PG-466):If several commands are issued in a row that all generate ERR# XX replies, the ERR command will return the description of the first error instead of the most recent error.  The issue is now resolved.
FIX (PG-3): Pressing the ESC key to return from the SYSTEM or AMBIENT run screen to the "normal" run screen incorrectly suspended auto-rotate.

Ver 3.00b (2010 April 05)
FIX (PG-15): IEEE488 address always displays as 10 when viewed from the Remote menu.
FIX (PG-16):  A PG7202 responded with “Request > Pmax of PG7202” whenever the target mass load was 40kg or greater.
FIX (PG-17):  All PG7000 models generated an error whenever a target pressure required a mass greater than 40kg in absolute by vacuum mode.

Ver 3.00a (2009 Oct 16)
FIX (PG-12): Option to disable keypad sounds was not available.
FIX (PG-14):  Resolved keypad entry problems when setting a target in Mass mode.
FIX (PG-13):  Unable to view the ambient temperature setup while viewing the active setup through the menu.

Ver 3.00 (2009 Aug 13)
