The 1664 FC puts a lot of testing power in your hands to quickly and efficiently test to all local regulations, protect appliances, and share test results in real time over your smartphone.

Test EV charging station RCD type A-EV or RDC-DD DC protection devices

Perform tests on EV charging station DC protection devices using the RCD type B (smooth DC currents) VAR mode, which generates the test currents for RCD type A-EV or RDC-DD acc. to IEC 62955 (6/60/200 mA and ramp <2 to 6 mA ramp). This allows the quick an easy testing of additional 6 mA DC monitors on charging points and can be used in conjunction with the Fluke FEV100 or FEV300.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1664 FC unit became faulty after a year I bought this from Fluke agent in Qatar. After a year I realized that the unit is giving unrealistic readings with related to the loop impedance and PSC values. Aslo after few loop tests, the unit started giving overheating error. Then I gave this to the Fluke agent in Qatar and they got it repaired from Fluke UK workshop which took 6 months. Although Fluke UK repaired the unit (which is still under warranty), the unit is still having the same problem. Apart from loop impedance (hi current and no tripping mode), the unit works perfectly for all the other measurements. But after paying for a premium product like this, it is unacceptable that I can not get accurate readings for loop testing which is a vital test in electrical testing.
